Norma J. Wilson, 86, of Tallula passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home.
Norma was born in Tallula on January 14, 1938 the daughter of Oscar and Nellie Morrison. She married Arthur (Kickapoo) Wilson on May 3, 1958, and he preceded her in death on February 21, 1995.
Norma was a member of Tallula Baptist Church. She held many different jobs in the food industry. Her last job was serving food to the Seniors at the Tallula Senior Center. She was well known for her outstanding cooking skills and her delicious homemade pies, which included coconut cream, lemon meringue and raisin pies!
Norma is survived by one sister, Barbara Jane Juris, and sister-in-law Sherry Morrison, both of Springfield, IL.; and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, Norma was preceded in death by her son, Scott Allen, her parents, six brothers, Charlie, Bob, Junior, Pete, Ed and Frank Morrison and two sisters, Bertha Hudspet
