Juanita Donley, age 75, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at her residence. She was born September 11, 1948 in Sherman, Illinois the daughter of Delmar and Harriet (Powell) Donley. Mourning her passing are siblings, Linda L.(Mickey) Moorman of Springfield and William Elmer (Karolyn) Donley of Springfield; several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Delmar and Harriet; siblings, Eugene Donley, Janet Darling, Leroy Donley, Eunice Louis Burris, Delmar Donley, Jr.     Juanita retired from the Illinois Secretary of State. She loved all animals, most especially her cat, “Bootsie”.   Cremation rites will be accorded.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.   Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Animal Protective League in Springfield. Mott & Henning Funeral Home is assisting the family.
