Jeanene Rosalee Johnson, age 90, of Greenview, Illinois passed away peacefully in her childhood home while surrounded by loved ones on June 13th, 2024. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.She was born to Russell and Jennie Case in Greenview, Illinois on January 4th, 1934. Jeanene married her grade school sweetheart, Tom Johnson, on October 19th, 1951 at Victorville Air Force Base in California. Jeanene and Tom were married for 72 remarkable years, a testament to their enduring love and commitment to each other.  Those mourning her passing are her beloved husband, Tom, and their children: Debbie Stroemer; Terry Willis (Denny); Tommy Johnson; and Jennifer Reid. She will be missed by her sister, Sharon Evers-Ingram, along with her nieces and nephews.
