William Muench, age 89, of Cantrall, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Villa Health Care in Sherman, Illinois.He was born June 19, 1935 in Springfield, Illinois, the son of William and Isabell (Mavis) Muench.William married Judy on February 4, 1962 in Springfield, Illinois at Southern View Chapel.Mourning his passing are his wife Judy; children, Roger (Devra) Muench; two grandchildren, Nicole and Dalton Muench; and several cousins.Mr. Muench is preceded in death by a daughter, Michele Cooper in 2020; a sister, Patricia McClelland; and his parents. He farmed for over 65 years at the family farm. Mr. Muench was a member of the Sangamon County Farm Bureau.
