Alice M. Franklin, age 91, of Williamsville, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. She was born November 17, 1932 in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Michael and Alice (Malazinskas) Sherrock. Alice married Cliff Franklin in 1952. They were happily married for 51 years.Mourning her passing are her two daughters, Alice Rebeck and Tammie (husband Ed) Stuemke; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Marion Cline, Charlotte Camile, Grace Sherrock, and Gene Sherrock; and her beloved dog, Muffin. She is preceded in death by husband, Cliff; daughter, LeAnn Carver; brother, Bob Sherrock; and her parents. Alice worked for the Williamsville School District for several years.She attended Williamsville High School.
