Robert "Bob" Emory Woolsey, 72, of Salisbury, Illinois, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, at Carlinville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Carlinville, Illinois. He was born March 22, 1952, in Springfield, Illinois, to Robert Hastings Woolsey and Roszella Irene (nee Hinds) Woolsey. He married Adaline Thomas on June 6, 1976, in Tallula, Illinois.
Bob is survived by his wife, Adaline; a son, Robert Shawn (wife Christina) Woolsey of Salisbury; his grandchildren, Robert Shawn Woolsey Jr, Breanna Nicole Woolsey and Bobbie Nicole Burrow; his great grandchildren, Elias Joseph Woolsey and Kia Everett Woolsey; and two sisters, Resa Ann (husband James) Jeffers and Ruby Irene (husband Leec) Walton. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, John Woolsey; and a sister, Rose Marie Whalsmith.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, at Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg, Illinois, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Knol
