Shelley Marie Monroe, 60, of Greenview, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. She was born September 7, 1963, in Springfield to Shelby and Linda (nee Delamo) Lynn. She married Lenny Monroe on December 31, 1983, at the Church of Christ in Petersburg and they had a wonderful marriage for the past 40 years.
Shelley is survived by her beloved husband, Lenny; her pride and joy children, Lainey Tamar Monroe, Clayton Alexander Monroe, Savannah Elena (husband Wesley) Hobbs, Magdalene Athena Monroe and Creighton Faulkner Monroe; her siblings, Brian (wife Lisa) Lynn, John (partner Sandy) Lynn and Kelley (husband Troy); and her cherished granddaughter, Evangelina "Evie" Hobbs. She was preceded in death by her father and mother.
