Vera Jean Peet, age 80, of Greenview, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. Vera was born on December 25, 1944 in Oakford, IL the daughter of Tade and Vera Adeline Knoles Todd. Vera is survived by her husband Terry Peet. They spent 32 wonderful years together.Mourning her passing are husband, Terry; children, Brian Neavill, Kim Roach (Joe); step-daughter, Hillary (husband Bill) Majewski; grandchildren, Joe Roach (Nicole), Megan (husband Jordan) Powell, Derek (wife Jordan) Neavill, Corina (husband Alan) White, and Stephanie Imbody; brothers, James (wife Janet) Todd and Don (wife Donna) Todd; sister-in-law, Maye Todd; as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; Larry Todd, Dwight Todd and Kenny Todd; one sister, Wanda Todd, and one daughter, Kathy Geist. Vera graduated from Athens High School in 1962. Vera was a stay-at-home mother for several years.
