Arlyn Tisdale was born August 29, 1933, the daughter of Lester and Jeanette Smith. She married Ted Tisdale on July 2, 1954, and they were together for 70 years. She was employed as a legal secretary for over 30 years with two local attorneys, Jefferson Lewis and Nolan Lipsky. She and Ted retired September 1, 1994.
Arlyn is survived by her husband; two sons, Scott (Kim Cameron) Tisdale Sr. and Gary Tisdale; two grandchildren, Scott Tisdale Jr. and Jenna Royce; and two great grandchildren, Landon Royce and Leah Royce. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Phyllis Baylor.
Cremation rites were accorded by Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg, Illinois. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Farmers Point Cemetery near Tallula, Illinois, with Dan VanEman officiating.
