Mildred Brown, age 81, of Athens, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.She was born August 3, 1943 in Greenview, Illinois, the daughter of Howard and Missouri (Taylor) Jones. She grew up in Greenview.Later Mildred married Robert Brown in Lewisville, TX on April 7, 1995.  Mourning her passing are three sons, Troy Juhl of Belleville, IL, Kyle Juhl of Athens, and William (Misty) Crenshaw of Athens; two daughters, Lori (Bill) Coker of Denton, TX and Jessica (Cody) King of Petersburg, IL; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2012; and brothers Charles Jones, Harold Cecil Propst, and Carl Propst.Mildred enjoyed playing cards and dominos, drinking coffee with her circle of friends, and going for long drives.She was a homemaker all throughout her life, raising her children.Mildred was a member of Calvary Church in Springfield, Illinois. Visitation for Mildred will be held
