Willard W. Miller, 89, of Sherman, Illinois, formerly of Petersburg, Illinois, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Villa Health Care East in Sherman. He was born April 1, 1935, in Petersburg, Illinois, to Walter and Myrtle (nee Norris) Miller.
Willard served our grateful nation by joining the United States Army, serving in the Korean War from 1955 to 1957. He later worked for IDEAL Industries and the City of Petersburg Maintenance Department. He also worked for a local tavern in Petersburg before officially retiring. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ.
Willard is survived by two siblings, Kenneth Miller and Arthur (wife Carolyn) Miller; and many nieces and nephews.
Willard was preceded in death by his parents; seven siblings, Mildred Miller, Beulah Brandmeyer, Hershel Miller, Walter (wife Daisy) Miller, Harold Miller, Wilma Ortmann and June (husband George) Wiggins; and a sister-in-law, Gene Miller.
